To spread the word about our December 2012 "Ice and Spice" concert, our music video crew did another tribute video, this time to Mariah Carey and Justin Bieber's hit "All I Want for Christmas Is You". What will they do next?

In August 2012, the boys of SDGMC released a spoof video of Carly Rae Jepsen's summer hit, "Call Me Maybe". SDGMCers turned the popular tune into a fun recruiting tool for new singers. So...call us maybe??

The chorus traveled to Denver in July 2012 to participate in the quadrennial festival of GALA-associated choruses. We performed five pieces to repeated standing ovations from a nearly-packed auditorium of fellow chorus members from around the world. The first video below has the first two pieces we performed. The second video is a fun compilation of photos and videos from our trip, set to the final piece from our program. The compilation was created by chorus member Ed Gillman. 

SDGMC was honored to be asked to perform at San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders' 2012 State of the City Address at the historic Balboa Theatre - and for our service members to be able to perform in uniform!!
