OLE OLE OLE!!! A great show! The chorus was powerful, balanced and your diction was amazing. I am a lyrics fan, so being able to hear the words was wonderfully refreshing. I especially loved the harmonies in Besame Mucho and One Note Samba. The sections of In the Heights were so well done -- thanks for doing these. Also loved the Selena songs and the Santana sound. A wonderfully entertaining show with good dancing, soloists and fabulous choral work. Kudos to your director, Gary. Keep it up!!!

WOW...is all we can say about YULE TUBE! Gary and the MEN of SDGMC have so much to be proud of for this Holiday Concert. You captured us at the very first note and we loved the entire performance. It is so obvious that the chorus members have worked very, VERY hard. The bend and sound of the chorus was breath taking! Congratulations on an outstanding concert performance.

I was soooooo moved by a piece called "Not in Our Town". This is a true life story about a Jewish Family living in Montana that was threatened by white supremacists. The towns touching response was to put drawings of the menorah up in each of their windows in support of the family. This song moved me to tears as did another piece called "You are my Star". The show was a delight so bravo again to Gary and the boys!

I am writing to give all of you a heart-felt thank you. I attended the Broadway Summer Pops concert, and you guys blew me away. Of course I loved the music. Of course the setting is beautiful. The thing that made my heart skip a beat, however, was the knowledge that you made several thousand people a bit more aware that the gay community in San Diego is something to embrace and celebrate.

For me, having gay “pride” previously meant that I accepted myself for who I am. I’m finally understanding that acceptance was only a baby step. True pride is something you celebrate, something you want to share, something that is not boastful yet very self-assured.

You guys help me connect with that kind of pride. You help me to be “proud” of my community of peers. You help me to confidently express that this city is a better place to live because of the vibrant gay community that is here. And if you’ve done this for me, I know you’re doing it for the entire region.

You are teaching everyone here in San Diego that the gay community isn’t something you learn to accept – it is something to be celebrated, cherished, and fostered. I thank you. I am still beaming with pride from Saturday night! You guys were amazing. Most sincerely, An Anonymous Fan

I would highly recommend the "Friend Me" concert and applaud the chorus for taking on this subject matter. The performance was quite moving and sincere giving credit to the 3 performers. Addiction in any form hurts, not only the addicted, but everyone in their circle as they witness the gradual effect it has on that person. The harmonies of the chorus are so beautifully woven and I'm floored at the level of commitment that these guys put forth.

Finally speaking from both sides of the curtain I would like to say that Gary Holt brings such enthusiasm, encouragement, positive energy, and musical excellence to the guys as well as being a gracious host delivering both humor and sincerity to the audience. :-) :-) :-)

My friend came rushing up to me at church the following Sunday, grinning from ear to ear. She gushed that Tinseltown had been her first chorus experience, but she absolutely intended to make it an annual tradition. Good work guys.
