For 25 years, the generosity of donors has provided the resources that energized both the San Diego Men's Chorus and the Gay Men’s Chorus of San Diego to promote social progress and quality through the power of gay men’s voices united in song. On January 1, 2010, the two united, forming the SAN DIEGO GAY MEN'S CHORUS.

This is a unique and exciting moment in both the arts and the GLBT communities of San Diego. Our Inaugural 2010 season was a milestone year with sold out concerts and many new audience members. We continue to plan and dream of expanded artistic projects, commissioning new works, creating educational outreach programs, and many more things that are now possible with our larger chorus. But it can only happen with your help!

SDGMC is recognized by the IRS and State of California as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
SDGMC is launching a new donor initiative entitled the "Spotlight Program". Here are the exciting benefits: *

$50-$249 FRIEND
  • Special email updates, e-newsletters, and name in concert program.

 
$250-$499 PATRON

All benefits listed above, plus:

  • An invitation to one pre-concert reception.

 

$500-$999 VIP

All benefits listed above, plus:

  • An invitation to another pre-concert reception and a special year-end reception at the home of the Artistic Director of the chorus, Gary Holt.

 
$1,000-$4,999 MARQUEE

All benefits listed above, plus:

  • An invitation to share lunch or dinner with the chorus artistic director, board president, or another board member and one optional half-page advertisement in one concert program.

 
$5,000-$9,999 SPOTLIGHT

All benefits listed above, plus:

  • One concert piece dedication.

 
$10,000 and above CONDUCTOR'S CIRCLE

All benefits listed above, plus:

  • One concert dedication.

 

* All Founding Patrons (gifts of $250 or more donated in 2010) are now acknowledged as Founding Patrons in perpetuity. These special donors will be recognized on a distinctive plaque and in all SDGMC concert programs. Founding Patrons also receive any and all benefits listed at the corresponding donation level.
